I've never really understood religion.
The way man acts towards God is strange. so this entry is going to highlight some of the strange things man does. If I cause offence I apologise, that’s not my intension. I do not wish to push my beliefs onto anyone I simply want to figure out why we act the way we do.


1.
Does it matter what religion you worship? If you think about it most religions preach forgiveness, understanding and love. So does it matter who’s right or wrong as long as the lesson makes sense?

2.
If God is everywhere then why do we go to church or mosque? Sure they're beautiful structures but that’s all they really are. If we all came from God and have his divine spark, then surely we don’t need a building or ritual to connect to God. He’s everywhere!

3.
If God is our father then why do we act so weird when talking to him?
We pray in monotone voices using words we don’t really understand and sing songs that might as well be death marches for all the joy they bring. If my children talked to me like that I’d be really worried.

4.
Why do we war or make sacrifice in Gods name? Surely if God says love everyone then war is the last thing he wants. You can’t have a god who loves everyone except that person over there; because that’s not loving EVERYONE IS IT!!!

5.
Why do we consider figures like Jesus to be greater than us? Surely if we are all the sons and daughters of God we are all capable of the compassion and understanding of Jesus. People forget that they have the ability to be good too. It’s all choice.
I was told once that God doesn’t make you 'good' he gives you opportunities to be 'good'. You’re the one who makes the choice to lie or tell the truth. Just find the strength to be all you can be.

6.
Heaven and Hell! Why do we feel the need to torture ourselves with the idea of hell? I refuse to believe in such a place. Life is full of lessons if you don’t learn what your soul needs to mature then you return to try again. I believe you are judged by your self or 'higher self' after all who knows you better then you.

7.
Why does man separate himself from nature? If you think about it God made this world for us, he made all the beauty of nature, plants that give food and medicine and fresh water. So what do we do? We concrete over everything; we build houses and box ourselves up away from what God intended. We try to beat God at his own game by altering or making our own inventions when nature provides all.
Cars, Bikes, and other transport are provided by nature in horses and mans own ability to be psychic.
We cook all our food killing the natural enzymes and positive energies the body needs so it has to eat more to get the right amount of nutrition needed causing obesity.
We pump our bodies full of toxins such as alcohol, caffeine, aspartame, monosodium glutamate and dairy products. These are not natural for the body and lead to cancer and other illnesses.
You may argue what’s wrong with dairy? Well nothing if it’s from your mother. The whole idea of getting milk from another animal is odd to say the least. We are not cows! That milk is not meant for us! And it has been proven that dairy is not good for the body. There are plants that can give you the calcium needed they are dark green leafy vegetables such as broccoli, kale, spring greens, cabbage, bok Choy, parsley and watercress.

Once again I apologise if I've caused offense in any way.

Well I think that’s all I have to say for now. Please give me you're opinions, I welcome others points of view. oh and just incase your wandering I'm Ex-Catholic by my own choice! lol.
